Rays subsidiary sues Sarasota-based aviation company
May 1, 2024 - Sunburst Entertainment Group LLC, a subsidiary of the Tampa Bay Rays, is suing Sarasota-based AeroVanti for $883,750. According to a complaint filed April 26 in Pinellas County, the private jet startup violated contracts by failing to pay sponsorship and licensing fees. The Chicago Cubs filed a similar lawsuit in February. The Baldwin Group now sponsors the upscale, former AeroVanti Club at Tropicana Field.
