Rays will begin 2026 season at Tropicana Field
August 26, 2025 - Major League Baseball released its 2026 regular season schedule Tuesday afternoon, and, while it is subject to change, the Tampa Bay Rays plan to play at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg starting April 6 with a six-game homestand against the Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees. The Rays have spent the 2025 season at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa due to ongoing storm repairs at the Trop. The team's 2026 season begins March 27 with a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium.
