Refresco signs $18 million lease for Tampa warehouse

April 24, 2020 - Refresco Beverages US Inc., a beverage manufacturer, has signed a lease for a 364,084-square-foot warehouse at 5210 S. 16th Ave. in Tampa. The warehouse formerly housed Southern Wine & Spirits, which had vacated the property, according to commercial real estate news site ConnectFlorida. The lease is valued at $18 million, ConnectFlorida said. Refresco spent $1.25 billion in 2018 to buy the soft drink business formerly owned by Tampa-based Cott Corp. (now Primo Water Corp.) Refresco will use the new Tampa space as a distribution warehouse. It plans to move into the new site in July. Refresco, which also has a manufacturing plant in Tampa, is the world’s largest independent bottler for retailers and A-brands in Europe and North America. Colliers International’s Ryan Vaught and Robyn Hurrell represented the landlord, South Carolina-based RealOp Investments. Foundry Commercial advised Refresco.
