Restaurateur with Outback ties plans St. Pete site
April 20, 2021 - Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen plans to open a location in St. Petersburg in September. Bolay was created by Chris Gannon, son of Outback Steakhouse Founder Tim Gannon. The fast-casual restaurant was founded in Wellington, Florida in 2016 and currently has 17 locations, with its newest site and 18th location set to open on Thursday, May 13, at 1544 W. Brandon Blvd. in Brandon. The address of the St. Petersburg location has not yet been announced. Guests can choose bowls that already are made up or customize their own, using a base such as rice or noodles, then adding protein, vegetables and other add-ons.
