Rowdies extend Head Coach Neill Collins

December 11, 2021 - Neill Collins will continue leading the Tampa Bay Rowdies as head coach in 2022 and beyond after signing a contract extension. The team announced the extension Friday, although contract details are unknown. The new contract follows a second-straight Eastern Conference title for the Rowdies, who ultimately lost in the USL Championship Final to Orange County (CA). The 2021 season saw Collins take home the Coach of the Year award after leading the Rowdies to the best record in the league. Collins, 38, came to Tampa Bay as a player in 2016 before becoming the head coach in 2018. Collins is already the winningest coach in the Rowdies’ modern era, with a record of 63 wins and 23 draws in 117 matches.
