Safety Harbor Pier’s official grand re-opening is Sept. 12
August 28, 2026 - The Safety Harbor Pier quietly re-opened Thursday, nearly two years after it was destroyed by the water and winds of Hurricane Helene. Rebuilding began in 2025. The City of Safety Harbor will hold an official grand re-opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony Sept. 12.
