Savannah Bananas to play in Tampa instead of Trop
November 2, 2024 - Raymond James Stadium will become the first NFL venue to host the Savannah Bananas exhibition baseball team in March 2025 due to storm damage at Tropicana Field. The wildly popular Bananas have never played in St. Petersburg but sold out several games at Tampa’s Steinbrenner Field in 2023 and 2024. The team will sell tickets to the March 15 event via a lottery system.
