School district receives its first ‘A’ grade
July 24, 2024 - Pinellas County Schools received an “A” grade from the Florida Department of Education for the first time in the district’s 112-year-old history Wednesday. The 2024 district-level results also marked the first time that every county school has earned an “A,” “B,” or “C” grade. Superintendent Kevin Hendrick called it a “great day for our community” in a prepared statement.
