Shake Shack opens at Midtown Tampa

June 7, 2021 - Shake Shack debuted its first-ever Tampa location on Monday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Mayor Jane Castor. The popular restaurant chain opened its doors at the new Midtown Tampa mixed-use development at 1011 Gramercy Lane. Shake Shack will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. “We are so excited to finally open our doors in Midtown Tampa,” Shake Shack Chief Development Officer Andrew McCaughan stated in a press release. “Years in the making, our debut Tampa location will be one of the development’s first restaurants to open, featuring a big, welcoming patio and beautifully designed interiors. We can’t wait to expand our footprint in Central Florida and finally bring our classics to the greater Tampa Bay community!” Shake Shack, the release stated, will donate $1 for every sandwich ordered on opening day to Feeding Tampa Bay.
