Site studies underway for Largo stormwater conservation project
August 24, 2026 - The City of Largo has started the "initial assessment phase" of the Pinecrest Stormwater Conservation Area project, according to a prepared statement. The effort was designed to "mitigate flooding and improve water quality in McKay Creek, while protecting wildlife, natural habitat and open space." Site studies are "underway" and are "expected to continue through Spring 2027."
