Southwest flights in Tampa resume
April 18, 2023 - Tuesday morning, Southwest Airlines, one of the primary airlines at the Tampa International Airport, announced it was grounding all flights as it was experiencing a technical issue with one of their internal systems. At the airline’s request, the Federal Aviation Administration paused Southwest’s departures as they resolved the issue. The pause has been lifted and their service has resumed, according to the FAA.
