Space Florida, Florida Power award St. Pete startup
June 7, 2024 - St. Petersburg-based Lonestar Data Holding recently received $40,000 in awards at Florida Venture Forum’s 16th annual Early Stage Venture Conference in Orlando. Florida Power & Light and Space Florida each awarded the local startup $20,000 for finishing as the runner-up in the event’s pitch competition. Lonestar plans to establish the first lunar data center and has already transmitted information to and from space and the Moon.
