SPPD nominated for national mental health impact award

October 28, 2025 - FHE Health nominated the St. Petersburg Police Department and its Community Assistance and Life Liaison (CALL) program for the inaugural First Responder Community Impact Award. The nationwide contest recognizes agencies and departments that make a positive impact on mental health in their community. FHE, a national behavioral health provider, will present the winner with a $4,000 check. Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services partnered with the St. Petersburg Police Department to launch the CALL program in February 2021.
