St. Pete awards $8 million water main contract
March 28, 2025 - The St. Petersburg City Council approved a $7.85 million contract Thursday with Deerfield Beach-based Ric-Man Construction Florida to complete Phase 5 of the Downtown Watermain Replacement Program. This phase will replace approximately 3,000 linear feet of 24-inch potable water main piping along 1st Avenue South, between 16th Street and 9th Street. In May 2023, the council approved an $876,000 design-build agreement with the contractor.
