St. Pete bank is nation’s first to achieve sustainability milestones
June 11, 2025 - St. Petersburg-based BayFirst National Bank has announced that all 12 of its retail banking centers have achieved 100% carbon neutrality and received LEED certification for environmental sustainability from the U.S. Green Building Council. BayFirst is the nation's first bank to accomplish both goals. Regional facilities manager Alex Hagush pledged that BayFirst remains "committed to maintaining this standard at every future location we open."
