St. Pete Innovation District to host Tuesday’s State of Science virtual event

The St. Petersburg Innovation District will host its third annual State of Science event to showcase innovators and their stories Tuesday, Oct. 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This year's virtual event will highlight the intersections between science, technology, engineering and art and will feature Janet Echelman, an internationally recognized artist originally from Tampa whose work, "Bending Arc," is featured at the St. Petersburg Pier. The event will also feature speakers from the Poynter Institute, the University of South Florida College of Marine Science, the University of South Florida College of Arts & Sciences and Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.
