St. Pete nonprofit leader wins global award

July 29, 2024 - Dr. Karalynne Brubaker, founder of Positive Impact Ministries, a St. Petersburg-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that addresses food insecurity, inequality and the root causes of hunger, was presented Saturday with a Global Humanities Award from The Sravasti Foundation. The San Francisco-based foundation recognizes and honors those who care about the fate of humanity and the dignity of life by making meaningful contributions.
