St. Pete teens assist with storm drain marking initiative
December 31, 2024 - Teams of teens from St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation’s centers assisted officials with a new Storm Drain Marking project Tuesday. The youth placed blue, rectangular placards atop storm drains that empty directly into Tampa Bay. The initiative’s goal is to raise awareness of stormwater pollution, and the role residents play in keeping the surrounding environment healthy and thriving.
