St. Petersburg begins month-long Christmas tree collection
December 30, 2023 - St. Petersburg residents can place their clean, discarded Christmas trees out for collection before a free mulching program begins Saturday, Jan. 6. However, the initiative runs until Feb. 2, and city officials warn the trees could sit by the curb for up to four weeks. Residents can also take the trees to city brush sites and receive free mulch.
