SunRunner goes fare-free for Halloween celebration

October 18, 2023 - The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) announced residents and visitors attending the third-annual Halloween on Central event can avoid paying fares on the region’s first bus-rapid-transit line. City officials will close 22 blocks along Central Avenue to vehicles from noon until 5 p.m. for the pedestrian-focused celebration. PSTA operates eight SunRunner stations throughout the Edge and Grand Central Districts.
