Syniverse, IBM team on blockchain project
May 8, 2019 - IBM and Syniverse, a Tampa technology company, completed a successful blockchain pilot program with two international telecommunication companies, Orange and Mobile TeleSystems. Syniverse and IBM designed a blockchain network that allowed smart contracts to be executed between mobile operators. By using the blockchain technology, IBM and Syniverse looked to improve customer efficiencies and reduce friction between businesses, a press release said.
