Tampa Bay apartments are unaffordable for 60% of residents

June 25, 2024 - A recent Redfin report found that Tampa Bay households must annually earn $70,280 to afford a median-priced apartment. However, the estimated median renter income is $56,830, a 19.1% deficit. That leaves approximately 59.6% of residents unable to afford a moderately priced apartment.
