Tampa Bay hospitals earn top spots in best hospital state rankings
July 28, 2021 - The 2021-22 Best Hospitals rankings, released Tuesday by U.S. News and World Report, identified the best hospitals in the world and state. Tampa General Hospital has been ranked the best hospital in the Tampa Bay area and No. 4 in the state. The Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville was the top overall hospital in Florida. Other local hospitals and their state rankings included Morton Plant Hospital (ranking at No. 6), St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa (ranking at No. 12), St. Anthony's (ranking at No. 25), and others. The hospital rankings were measured on factors such as survival rate, nurse staffing, technology, patient services, specialists and experiences. See the full list here.
