Tampa Bay seniors and high-risk groups begin to receive Covid vaccines

December 30, 2020 - Tampa General Medical Group has started administering the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine to its patients 65 and older and also to those who have severe comorbidities that make them more vulnerable to contracting the virus. Additionally, Pinellas County plans to launch a reservation system for people 65 and up to receive the vaccine. The system is expected to go live at noon Monday, Jan. 4 with the effort itself launching Jan. 5. The health department will provide more information on how to reserve a slot on its website, which can be accessed by clicking here.
