Tampa General named Neuro Spine Surgery Center of Excellence
October 7, 2026 - Tampa General Hospital is the first institution in the world to be named a Center of Excellence in Neuro Spine Surgery by the Surgical Review Corporation. According to a prepared statement, Dr. Puya Alikhani was recognized as "the first surgeon in the world to earn SRC’s Master Surgeon designation in Neuro Spine Surgery."
