Tampa hospital lays off workers
May 7, 2019 - Shriners Hospitals for Children will lay off 60 workers at its Tampa hospital, on the USF campus. The hospital cited industry-wide changes in the delivery of healthcare, in a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification filed with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. The layoffs will take place on Aug. 1, the WARN said.
