Tampa International opens new security checkpoint
March 3, 2025 - Tampa International Airport officials celebrated a newly expanded Airside E Security Screening Checkpoint’s completion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday morning. The checkpoint will open to the public this week. U.S. Rep. Laurel Lee and representatives from the Transportation Security Administration and Suffolk Construction participated in the event.
