Tampa REITS merge
April 12, 2019 - Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT Inc. and Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT II Inc. have a definitive agreement to merge, creating an entity valued at $3.2 billion. Both Tampa-based real estate investment trusts focus on investing in income producing commercial real estate. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2019, although the agreement allows Carter Validus Mission Critical REIT to look for another buyer.
