Tampa-St. Pete ranks low for ‘opportunity jobs’

May 20, 2019 - The Tampa-St. Petersburg metro area is near the bottom of the list of metro areas nationwide for “opportunity jobs” — those that don’t require a four-year degree and pay above the national average. The local metro ranked No. 105 among 121 areas in a study by researchers from the Federal Reserve Banks of Philadelphia and Cleveland.
