Tierra Verde group challenges marina expansion approval
September 8, 2026 - In an ongoing dispute, Tierra Verde NEXT is asking St. Petersburg to reconsider its approval of Greenleaf Capital’s Tierra Verde Marina expansion, arguing the developer improperly counted 29 of its boat slips to reduce its public parking requirement. The group said Greenleaf’s state lease requires most slips to remain available to the public, putting those parking credits in question.
