Topgolf advances St. Pete plans
July 24, 2019 - Topgolf Entertainment Group will break ground on its location in St. Petersburg in coming weeks, with the venue slated to open next year. Topgolf will hire more than 400 full- and part-time associates throughout the next year for the project and expects to serve approximately 450,000 guests annually, a news release said. The Dallas-based company didn't provide specifics about the St. Pete location, but it sought permits earlier this year for 12 acres in Carillon. Topgolf is a golf entertainment experience with competitive games and advanced technology to track the accuracy and distance of players’ shots.
