Two area companies make the Fortune Global 500
July 22, 2019 - Tech Data Corp. and Publix Super Market Inc. rank among the 500 largest companies in the world. Both show up on today's new Fortune Global 500. Tech Data (Nasdaq: TECD), a Clearwater-based technology distributor with $37.2 in revenue, is No. 330 on the list, down 15 spots from a year ago. Publix, the Lakeland-based grocery chain, is No. 342, with $36.4 billion in revenue. Publix, the world's largest employee-owned company, dropped 8 spots from a year ago.
