USA Today ranks two local beaches among state’s best
June 7, 2024 - Florida has 825 miles of beaches, and USA Today's editors and readers ranked two in Pinellas County among their 10 favorites. Treasure Island Beach came in fifth due to its beachfront hotels and restaurants. Clearwater Beach placed fourth, earning praise for its "talc-white strand of sand," waterborne activities and "epic sunsets."
