USF president Rhea Law announces resignation
February 17, 2025 - University of South Florida president Rhea Law announced Monday that she plans to resign following a national search for a successor. She became the interim president in August 2021 before the board of trustees appointed her to the permanent role in March 2022. USF became Florida’s first public university in nearly 40 years to receive an invitation to join the prestigious Association of American Universities in 2023. The school has also set new funding and donation records during her tenure.
