USF welcomes a new provost
January 23, 2023 - University of South Florida President Rhea Law announced Monday that she appointed Prasant Mohapatra as the new provost and executive vice president of academic affairs. A university release noted that Mohapatra previously served as vice chancellor for research at the University of California, Davis. In a statement, Law said, "his extensive teaching, research and leadership experience will help build on our momentum and take USF to new heights of academic excellence.”
