Veterans’ Washington, D.C. Honor Flight takes place June 10
June 3, 2025 - From all over the region, 75 veterans will visit Washington, D.C.'s war memorials Tuesday, June 10. It's the 52nd such excursion for the West Central Florida chapter of Honor Flight, which has sponsored numerous such trips annually since 2011. The veterans will fly, free of charge, from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport, via Allegiant Air, and return at approximately 8:15 p.m. The Welcome Home celebration is open to the public - various groups, military and government leaders will be at the airport to greet the veterans.
