Virtual veterinary service to provide free exams

March 22, 2021 - Airvet, a Los Angeles-based platform that provides telehealth services for pet owners, will provide free virtual exams for any dog or cat adopted in the Sarasota area between now and June 30. Airvet, according to a press release, has more than 4,200 licensed veterinarians on its platform, which is one of the top-rated connected care software applications in the United States for both vets and pet parents. It has partnered with Dr. Stephanie Lantry at Sarasota-based Animal Medical Clinic of Gulf Gate to launch an Airvet Spring Adoptathon. According to a news release, Dr. Lantry will offer a free virtual consultation for dogs and cats adopted from any animal shelter or rescue service within 30 days of the pet’s adoption.
