Water restrictions approved amid drought
November 14, 2023 - The Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) declared a modified phase one water shortage Tuesday due to the area’s rainfall deficit. Residents in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough Counties will have one day to irrigate lawns beginning Dec. 1. Here is SWFWMD’s watering schedule: Addresses ending in 0 or 1 - Monday; addresses ending in 2 or 3 - Tuesday; addresses ending in 4 or 5 - Wednesday; addresses ending in 6 or 7 - Thursday; addresses ending in 8 or 9 - Friday.
