Eric Clapton is 76 years old, but that doesn’t seem to be slowing ol’ Slowhand down. The guitarist formerly known as God is hitting the road again, and a Sept. 26 date has been confirmed at Amalie Arena. Tickets are now on sale.

Clapton’s band on this go-round includes, among others, guitarist Doyle Bramhall II and keyboard player Paul Carrack, whose voice you know from a half dozen huge hits (“How Long” by Ace, “Tempted” by Squeeze, and Mike + the Mechanics’ “Living Years,” “Over My Shoulder” and “Silent Running.”) The Fabulous Thunderbirds’ Jimmy Vaughan will open.

Clapton’s latest recording is the controversial “Stand and Deliver,” an anti-lockdown protest song written by his pal Van Morrison.

Speaking of 75-year-old Van The Man, he’s booked two Ruth Eckerd Hall dates, Feb. 14 and 15. Those tickets are also available now.

Amalie Arena has Jimmy Buffett, Harry Styles, comedian Joe Rogan and some other cool stuff in summer and fall ’21.

Expect a new Raymond James Stadium date for the Rolling Stones soon, a make-up date for the canceled 2021 tour.

Tickets are on sale now for the opening concert on the 2022 Kenny Chesney tour, April 23 at Raymond James Stadium.

The Mahaffey Theater has tickets on sale now for comedians Chelsea Handler (Oct. 27) and Lewis Black (Dec. 17).

Congratulations to the 2021 Individual Artist Grant Program awardees, from the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance. Each of these 16 creatives receives $1,000 from the organization and the Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs:

Aleisha Prather, Beth Reynolds, Anna Kate Mackle, Desiree Hacker, Glenn Stevenson, Gabriela Rosa, Martha Joy Rose, J.J. Pattishal, Paula Kramer, Neverne Covington, Stephanie Johnson, Robin Roth-Murphy, Thom Nemaya, Takeya Trayer, Kate Cummins and Ashley Rivers.

@ Pinellas County residents can tour the Imagine Museum, a dazzling collection of glass art from around the world, for a $5 admission during June.

@ Artist Ya La’Ford will create a wrap-around public art piece for the St. Petersburg Museum of History exterior. Details are to be announced Tuesday.

@ The Woman Who Broke Boundaries: Photographer Lee Miller opens July 3 at the Dali Museum. Miller’s legend was assured through her creative portraits of important writers and artists, the majority associated with the Surrealist movement in Paris.
