St. Petersburg’s Chad Mize is an artist, a muralist, a designer and an entrepreneur. He’s also one of the city’s most prolific cultural multi-hyphenates – he does all those things at once – and he’s a tireless advocate and cheerleader for other artists and other creative endeavors. He’s been deeply involved with the SHINE Mural Festival for all of its 10 years.

St. Petersburg is lucky to have him.

Mize is today’s guest on the Arts Alive! podcast, and it’s a revealing discussion about his personal journey, his commitment to the arts and to a healthy arts community, and his ideas for 2024.

From Blue Lucy to the Mize Gallery to SPACE, Mize is also known as a respected curator, and he talks about each of those ventures and what they’ve meant to him.
