The 5th annual St. Pete Run Fest will take over downtown streets Friday through Sunday, with a variety of races for all levels of ability, some athletic, some just for fun and all of them spectacularly scenic.

And although registration is full for the 5K, 10K and all “Challenges” races, a few spots remain for the 13.1 mile certified course through the heart of downtown St. Pete and along the waterfront. The kids’ races have spaces, too.

New for ’22, the St. Pete Catalyst will post the result of all races, along with additional information and special features.

In partnership with the St. Pete Run Fest, Cityverse is offering a limited edition Run Fest 5th anniversary NFT, which will be added automatically to a runner’s Homespace when the new social media platform launches in 2023.

Cityverse – “a virtual overlay for a physical city” – will deliver important news and information from every corner of St. Petersburg – a personal Homespace builds a civic profile; every Homespace comes with a personal NFT gallery.

The post-race party, Saturday and Sunday at Albert Whitted Park, includes the Rollin’ Oats Wellness Market (including organic samples, wine tasting and chef inspired nosh) 100+ makers and vendors, live music and craft beer from local breweries.

Created by brothers Keith and Ryan Jordan, the St. Pete Run Fest is expected to draw 10,000 to the downtown waterfront.

“The goal of this whole thing is to create something that the community really rallies around,” Ryan Jordan told the Catalyst in 2021. “It’s certainly about running and wellness, but it’s also very much a celebration of St. Pete.”
