‘Catalyst Sessions’ recap: Dave and Heather Hamar

Monday on The Catalyst Sessions, husband-and-wife entrepreneurs Dave and Heather Hamar allowed us the first glimpse into The Mar, St. Petersburg’s new rehearsal/performance space.

The converted storefront at 2309 Central “opens for business” today (Tuesday, Sept. 1).

That’s open as in Covid-open. There’s a full day of activities and performances planned, and although a certain amount of folks will be allowed in the doors to check things out (register here for a tour) the events are being livestreamed on The Mar Facebook and Instagram pages.

Beginning at 12:30 p.m. today, performers include Tampa’s Kasondra Rose, America’s Got Talent finalist Mandy Harvey, Austin Vickery, Spitfire Improv Theater and numerous others.
