We welcomed Rebekah Pulley and Rob Pastore back to The Catalyst Sessions Monday, nearly four months after their first appearance.

After a too-lengthy period of Covid-created inactivity, the music-making twosome have appeared on the odd stage or two recently, at socially-distanced events like the Hideaway Café’s virtual live concert series, streamed live from the Central Avenue music room. A small audience is present, too, each table six or more feet apart.

The played that show just last weekend with Ronny Elliott, who dropped into The Catalyst Sessions just to say hello to his friends. So it was a bit of an old-home reunion.

Pulley sang “Whiskey,” “Shine a Light” and “Others,” with Pastore on standup bass and harmony vocals, making this one of the most inspiring musical installments of the Catalyst’s ongoing video interview series.

Today on The Catalyst Sessions: St. Petersburg Museum of History director Rui Farias on Webb’s City, the new pier, museum expansion and more.

Streaming at 7 p.m. weekdays on the Catalyst Facebook page. All episodes are archived on our YouTube page.
