In a region where community empowerment and sustainable housing issues are at the forefront, one organization stands tall in transforming lives, one home at a time.

Mike Sutton has led Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties as President and CEO for nearly a decade, helping grow the organization into one of the country’s top-producing Habitat for Humanity affiliates. Since its founding in 1985, Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas and West Pasco Counties has built more than 830 homes, with about 500 built under Sutton’s leadership.

In this interview, Sutton talks about the affiliate’s keys to success, including diversifying revenue streams, investing in talent recruitment and retention, and combating rising construction costs.
