Crisis Center to merge with Success 4 Kids & Families

Two area nonprofits – the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay and Success 4 Kids & Families – have announced plans to merge operations.
The merger, planned for January 1, 2025, will make Success 4 Kids & Families a division of the Crisis Center. Clara Reynolds, who served as the first executive director of Success 4 Kids & Families and is currently the President & CEO of the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, will lead the merged organization.
Reynolds said with two leaders at Success 4 Kids & Families retiring, including current Executive Director Pam Jeffre, the board of directors “took that opportunity to really evaluate the needs of the organization and determined that the best thing for the children and families they serve was to find another organization with a similar mission and cultural values and initiate a merger.”
Success 4 Kids & Families, which was founded in 2005 and has an annual budget of $7.5 million, has been providing support and services for individuals and families in Hillsborough County dealing with behavioral, emotional and mental health challenges.
The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, with over 50 years of service in the area and an annual budget of $25 million, operates a telephone contact center that answers seven crisis and community information lines, provides trauma counseling, operates TransCare Medical Transportation and serves as Hillsborough County’s certified rape crisis center.
Reynolds hopes her experience leading both organizations and the infrastructure of the larger Crisis Center will help Success 4 Kids streamline operations and increase its capacity to serve families in the area.
“[Growing Success 4 Kids’ programs] is the piece that is just so exciting to me,” Reynolds said. “Children’s mental health has really seen, in my opinion, a renaissance post-Covid. It highlighted that kids and families have struggled for a long time with behavioral health issues, but the stigma and stereotypes that were related to reaching out and asking for help were reduced post-Covid, and more individuals are realizing that behavioral health is real.”
“I think with the infrastructure that that the Crisis Center will be able to provide, the opportunities for growth are significant,” Reynolds added. There are opportunities at the state, county and federal level that we’ll be able to leverage as a single organization that they just didn’t have the capacity to be able to respond to before.”
Following the transition, Success 4 Kids & Families staff will become Crisis Center employees. Reynolds said they will also have the same roles and functions, allowing them to continue working with their existing clients. In the meantime, both nonprofits are operating as normal and continuing to take referrals.

I would recommend no one give money to this organization. On their website, they say that they provide transgender health services to young people of any age. Any age?
The Europeans have already discovered helping young people change. Sex was a complete debacle.
Turning young people into permanent patients Is insanity. And deeply immoral.
Here is the language from their website… Just copied and pasted.
Healthy Transitions
No one should do without mental health support due to age, location, or economic status, especially young adults. Our Healthy Transition program serves young adults between 16-25 years old who are struggling with mental health issues in Hillsborough County.
Hopefully groups like this who perform these “services” will be subject to huge judgments by juries.
