Duke: Full power in Pinellas expected by Tuesday
The sound of chainsaws filled suburban neighborhoods Saturday morning, as residents continued the work of cleaning up after Hurricane Milton.
Generators went quiet, as gasoline became in short supply.
Hundreds of thousands of Pinellas County residents remained without power. The most recent restoration update from Duke Energy Florida, issued at 3:30 Friday afternoon:
While some customers will have their power restored earlier, the majority who can receive power are expected to be restored by the following days/times:
Sunday, Oct. 13 by 11:59 p.m. / Brevard, Citrus, Hernando, Highlands, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia Counties
Tuesday, Oct. 15 by 11:59 p.m. / Pasco and Pinellas Counties.

Why is Pinellas last to be restored? Plenty of trucks sitting around at Largo mall and other locations on East Bay and Ulmerton.
