The St. Petersburg International Folk Fair returns for its 47th year!
On Saturday, October 22nd, head to Albert Whitted Park from 10am - 6pm in downtown St. Petersburg for a chance to explore cultures from around the world!
Watch as the INTERNATIONAL FOLK FAIR transforms St. Petersburg’s Albert Whitted Park (located behind the Dali Museum) into a microcosm of the world, with a multitude of ethnic crafts, arts, food, cooking demonstrations and special entertainment.
The SPIFFS Annual International Folk Fair is “a trip around the world in a day” and this year's theme is Unity.
The Folk Fair features more than 25+ ethnic member groups, many of whom are first-generation Americans, eager to share their culture and traditions with attendees! Each group sets up a “village” with cultural exhibits, ethnic foods and gift items for sale. Continuous live entertainment is presented on two stages, including ethnic dancing and music performances.
Special feature 2pm on Saturday: the Grand Parade of Nations.
For continuous entertainment, there will be folk dance groups dancing and performing in their ethnic costumes, bands, and singers performing consistently throughout the day and into the evening!
For the adults - there will be a beer tent featuring international beers from around the world. For the kids - there will be activities and cultural exhibits for the kids to learn and explore!
Each year, the SPIFFS Folk Fair brings together many people from all over the Tampa Bay area for a fabulous time! This year, it is a one-day event so you won't want to miss it!
