This is the OFFICIAL Facebook Event for the 49th Annual Pinellas Park Christmas Parade.
The Pinellas Park Christmas Parade has unofficially kicked off the holiday season for our community since 1972. The parade begins at Park Boulevard and the railroad tracks (58th Street) and proceeds eastbound to The Shoppes at Park Place.
There are families that have attended all 47 parades and they have watched it from the very same location every year. Attendance ranges from 5,000 to 7,500! In other words, come out early! The parade route is completely closed no later than 4:00PM, but to be safe, we invite you to bring out your lawn chairs and blankets starting at 4:30PM!
There are usually anywhere from 110 to 120 individual entries in the parade than consists of an average of three vehicles. This is a long parade! Last year, Santa left staging at 7:59PM.
Handicapped seating is available at Taylor Family Funeral Home located at 5300 Park Boulevard. The seating area is only accessible from 53rd Street via 70th Avenue.
