The Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts will host a free Community Mingle on Friday, March 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the front lobby of the Duke Energy Center for the Arts – Mahaffey Theater.
During the event, Bill Edwards will announce the launch of the Foundation’s “10 for Tomorrow” Capital Campaign, a multi-million-dollar initiative to establish the Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts Community Arts Center in South St. Petersburg. The proposed center will serve as a permanent home for the Foundation and support expanded youth arts education and community programming.
The evening will include live entertainment by the Daniel B. Marshall Band and a special guest performance by Foundation students. Drinks and light bites will be served.
The Foundation will also continue supporting the city’s Class Acts student arts program at the Mahaffey Theater while expanding arts education opportunities for students throughout the Tampa Bay region.
