Join local historian Josette Green with St. Petersburg Black History Tours to learn about the city’s impactful Black history while biking around the city and into the past. The history comes to life when standing on the land where history was made. Green’s meticulous research, aided by historic photos and maps helps tell the story of Black residents in St. Pete from the city’s very beginning. The history provides context to the segregation and systemic racism that exists in the city today.

Following the bike tour, the group meets with Mr. B to hear his fascinating lived experiences. He’s a tour highlight as he brings to life from personal experience history that Green just shared. It’s an immersive 4 hour experience.

ABC News calls the Black History Bike Tour “eye-opening.” It’s recommended by the NY Times.
